Learning Through Play
At Lil Kidz Depot, we believe that play is a crucial component of early childhood development. Our classrooms are designed to encourage hands-on, experiential learning where children explore, discover, and make sense of the world around them. Through guided play activities, we foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and social interactions, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Every day, our educators create playful, engaging experiences that spark curiosity and nurture a love of learning in each child.
Our Programs
Full Time/Part Time Care
We offer both full time and part time care in all of our classrooms. We know its important to give the parents as much flexibility with their schedule as possible. Not all childcare centers in the area give people part-time oppurtunities. We think it's important to offer this option to our parents.
Before/After School Care
There are lots of parents who are going to work well before their kid has to be at school or who work well past school dismissal. We are here to help you with those needs and be responsible for getting those kids to school on time and safe. We open at 630am and we close at 6pm.
Summer Care
We want to make sure that your school age children have a place to go during the summer that gives them a place to have fun and give opportunities activities and events all summer long. Unfortunately for us adults we don't get the summer off like the kids do, so most parents need a place for them to go, that gives them the enjoyment, activity, and supervision that school age kids need. We will have a summer program that includes special events on campus and weekly field trips.
Our Classrooms
Infant 1
6 weeks -12 months
caregivers provide a nurturing and safe environment, focusing on meeting the babies' basic needs like feeding, diapering, and naptime. Infants are encouraged to explore their surroundings through sensory activities, tummy time, and simple toys that promote motor skills. Caregivers also engage in one-on-one interactions, including talking, singing, and reading to support language development. The daily routine is flexible to accommodate each baby’s individual schedule, ensuring personalized care and attention.
Infant 2
Moving - 18 Months
In an Infant 2 room, where babies are more mobile, caregivers focus on encouraging physical development through activities like crawling, pulling up, and cruising. The room is set up with safe spaces for exploration, soft climbing structures, and age-appropriate toys to support developing coordination and independence. Caregivers engage babies with interactive activities like singing, dancing, and simple games that promote cognitive and social development. As mobility increases, the daily routine incorporates more opportunities for active play while still providing nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and naps based on each child’s needs.
Toddler Room
18 months-36 months
In our toddler room, the focus shifts to fostering independence and social skills as children engage in more structured play and group activities. Toddlers explore their environment with hands-on learning, including sensory play, art projects, and basic problem-solving tasks to develop cognitive and motor skills. Caregivers guide children through routines like snack time, potty training, and circle time, where they sing songs, read stories, and practice simple concepts like colors, numbers, and shapes. The room is designed to encourage self-directed play while also promoting cooperation and communication among peers.
Pre - School
3-4 years
In our preschool room, children engage in a mix of structured learning and play-based activities to prepare them for Pre-K. The daily schedule includes group activities like circle time, where they practice letters, numbers, and engage in themed lessons that foster cognitive development and early literacy skills. Children also participate in creative projects, science experiments, and outdoor play that build fine and gross motor skills while encouraging exploration and problem-solving. Social skills are emphasized through group play, encouraging teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution among peers.
Pre-K
4-5 Years
In our Pre-K room, children focus on more advanced academic skills, preparing for the transition to kindergarten with structured lessons on reading, writing, and early math concepts. The curriculum includes group activities like circle time, where they discuss themes, practice counting, and work on phonics and letter recognition. Creative play and hands-on projects, such as science experiments and art activities, foster critical thinking and creativity. Social-emotional development is emphasized through teamwork, problem-solving activities, and lessons in responsibility, helping children build confidence and independence.
School Age
Elementary School Age
Whether it's Before/After school care or Summer program, we provide a safe and structured environment for children outside of regular school hours. In the mornings, children engage in quiet activities like reading, puzzles, or simple crafts to ease into the day before school begins. After school, the focus shifts to more active play, homework assistance, and enrichment activities such as group games, art projects, or STEM challenges. This care also provides time for social interaction with peers in a relaxed setting, while offering a mix of supervised play and learning opportunities.
